Welcome

Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.

I just have one question. What on Earth was was I thinking, that I ended up here? To quote Douglas Adams, "I seldom end up where I wanted to go, but almost always end up where I need to be"

I started out wanting to be a software entrepreneur and founded SkiSoft Inc. in 1994. After that I was a Mathematician for a grand total of 4 days, then a Theoretical Phycist for 4 months, before finding my way to Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Vel-Tech Engineering College, University of Madras in 1997. Having figured I hadn't wasted enough time in the pointless rigours of academia, I moved to the USA to see if I can find someone foolish enough to give me an advanced degree in Engineering.

Currently, I am a graduate student at the Department of Electrical Engineering at University of Washington, Seattle. I am currently working towards my Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Alexander Mamishev.

The primary purpose of this site is to disseminate information regarding my research and do a bit of PR for self, so feel free to ping me.
